The Health and Wellbeing Good Practice Award is based on the
same three core prinicples of the Investors in People Standard:
Plan, Do, Review.
The Health & Wellbeing Award is
structured in the same way and builds on the content of the
Investors in People Standard as there are powerful links between
how well people are managed and their wellbeing. It is made up of
three underlying key principles, each in turn supported by
indicators of good practice that imply 50 Evidence Requirements in
total.
30% of the Health and Wellbeing
Award (15 common Evidence Requirements) has criteria that overlap
with those in the Investors in People Standard. For new clients,
achieving the Health & Wellbeing Award gives credits in advance
to work towards achieving the full Standard.
The Health & Wellbeing Award
brings extra focus to health and wellbeing issues at the level of
the Standard, emphasising the components of a healthy workplace and
bringing in new aspects of health at work. Beyond the Standard, it
offers scope to strive for continuous improvement in health and
wellbeing, as part of a wider strategy.
Focusing on your
people's health and wellbeing will give you an amazing return on
investment.
