Investors in People New Zealand

Investors in People New Zealand was established in 1999. The Company is Auckland based with an office in Wellington, and is supported by a team of experienced consultants throughout New Zealand.

Investors in People New Zealand are licensed by the governing body in the UK (IIPUK) to grow and deliver the Standard. The delivery of the Standard is tailored to meet the specific needs of NZ organisations, which in many instances differs to that of the UK. The only thing which does not change from country to country is the content of the Standard itself.

Investors in People NZ Ltd (IIPNZ) provides consulting services to organisations with particular emphasis on people strategies and the alignment of these to the business strategies and plans. Using the Investors in People Standard as its point of difference, IIPNZ is able to provide a full suite of services from diagnostic assessment through to intervention programmes such as leadership and management development.

It is the philosophy of IIPNZ to create relationships with clients that are long term ensuring at the same time dependency is not created. The advantages of long term relationships is that we can remain outcomes focused and ensure the benefits of programmes are sustainable and embedded into the culture of the client organisation.

IIPNZ has two core functions:
1. Assessment (using the Investors in People Standard)
2. Organisational Development (applying the Investors in People principles)

OD focuses primarily on the development and delivery of Leadership & Management development programmes. These programmes use the Plan Do Review Principles of the Standard as the common thread for continuous improvement.

IIPNZ have an extensive client base both in NZ and Australia.By the end of 2009 more than 200 New Zealand organisations will be using the Standard as an organisational development framework. They represent organisations of all sizes and all sectors.
