Managing Director of Investors In People New Zealand
Stuart is Managing Director for Investors in People NZ as well holding the role of Director of Investors in People Australia. Stuart has responsibility for positioning the international Investors in People quality Standard into the NZ environment and ensuring consistency in delivery of services provided to clients. He is recognised by Investors in People UK as the leading Investors in People specialist in Australasia, having assessed and advised extensively in the NZ and Australian context.
In the last 20 years he has held senior management positions heading both finance and human resources functions in NZ, Singapore and the UK. Stuart has wide experience in areas of organisational development and business strategy and uses his skills to provide highly effective assessment feedback to clients in all sectors. Stuart is a chartered accountant and a member of the NZ Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Karen Simmonite - Quality Services Coordinator
Karen has a background in education and training and is responsible for ensuring the smooth running and administration of training and development programmes. Liz Gordon - Investors in People Registered Practitioner
Liz, an Investors in People specialist, has many years practical experience working as a manager within competitive business environments. Throughout her career, Liz's main focus has been on developing and implementing a wide range of people management strategies and practices that recognise the important part people, at all levels, play in organisational success. In addition to consultancy services, Liz has taught business related topics at the University of Otago, Belfast Metropolitan College and the University of Ulster. Liz is a chartered member of the CIPD (UK), member of the Institute of Business Consultants and a facilitator for NZIM.

Chris Elphick - Investors in People Registered Practitioner
Chris Elphick is a highly experienced business coach, consultant, facilitator and trainer. He works with a wide range of organisations from the profit, not-for-profit and public sectors. Along with his partner, Hazel Kirkham, he is a Director of both Kirkham & Elphick Ltd and Learn.fast Pacific which works with partners in the Pacific Islands to grow the capability and capacity needed to achieve economic, social and cultural well being of individuals, families and communities.

Hazel Kirkham - Investors in People Registered Practitioner
Hazel’s consultancy and mentor career began in the arts and creative sector, in public arts policy, marketing and management, arts businesses, and independent television production. She went on to build on that experience, working with a wide range of organisations in the public and not-for-profit sectors.
Hazel was one of the first consultants to be accredited as adviser and assessor of the newly launched Investors in People standard in the UK. When the UK government directed all civil service agencies to meet the Investors in People standard, Hazel worked with many of those agencies, large and small, helping them to turn around their people and performance processes and practices within very challenging time frames.
Hazel was also responsible for training numerous independent and in-house IIP advisors through a programme run by Henley Management College and later the Financial Times and Pearson.
Having moved to New Zealand in 2000, Hazel was appointed Director, Human Resources at the Open Polytechnic of New Zealand which was working towards meeting the Investors in People standard.
Since then, Hazel has worked with many New Zealand and Pacific Island SME’s, not-for-profit organisations and has had a particluar focus with public service clients, many of them in the education sector. She has also worked for the Government of the Cook Islands, including a twelve month assignment as Public Service Strengthening Advisor at the Office of the Public Service Commissioner.
Hazel’s particular strengths lie in helping organisations to learn about and understand themselves, how the problems they experience arise, and how to create the conditions for improved performance going forward.
Matt Pickering - Investors in People Registered Practitioner
Matthew has had a long history working in the agricultural sector, including many years in the rural banking industry. He now consults widely in the dairy sector in areas such as farm planning, succession planning and coaching. Matthew has been a qualified Investors in People Practioner since 2013.
John Redpath - Investors in People Registered Practitioner
John, based in the South Island, has a background of leadership in the Rural Sector Industry and considerable experience in New Zealand and Australia including being an equity partner in a Southland dairy farm. He held various rural banking roles with over 20 years executive leadership team experience. John has been a qualified Investors in People practitioner since 2013.
Steph Field - Trainer/Mentor
Steph is a results-driven HR professional with broad generalist experience. She has proven ability to design, develop and implement effective strategic and operational people management initiatives, tailored to support business objectives.
Steph has held a senior role in a high profile multinational as well as a number of medium-sized NZ businesses across a broad range of industries. She has implemented numerous successful HR and OD initiatives including Management Development and Leadership programmes, remuneration and incentive schemes, performance and development review processes and systems, competency frameworks, culture and change initiatives and recruitment tools and processes. She has also worked closely with managers at all levels, providing operational HR support.
Stephanie has strong communication, relationship management and coaching skills, is comfortable with challenging the status quo and enjoys working in partnership with businesses of all sizes.
Pauline Latta - Trainer/Mentor
Pauline is a people focused organisational development specialist with marketing and psychology degrees from the University of Otago. Pauline's expertise is mentoring/coaching, Human Resources management, training and strategy development.
Pauline works with organisations on their people strategy, culture, performance and development. Her extensive experience includes rural/farming,health, mining, commercial/accounting and not for profit sectors. Pauline has worked within the UK, Ireland and Australia and domestically throughout New Zealand within teams from governance, CEO and senior management to administration and operational levels.
Ross Hansen- Trainer/Mentor
Ross is an experienced business coach and mentor, a human resource leader and has an extensive business consulting background. He has worked in an advisory capacity for 13 years, prior to which he held a senior Human Resources Manager role at the Southern District Health Board and spent over 10 years with the Department of Labour, in the employment and industrial relations areas.
Ross’s more recent experience includes a three year assignment in the South Link Health Group of companies, providing support to six business entities in a strategic recruitment, human resources and project management role.
Ross also spent 10 years as Senior Consultant and Human Resources Leader for business advisory firm, Polson Higgs. This role involved working at a senior level in HR compliance, in the widest context, coaching businesses, advising senior teams on executive recruitment, workplace investigations, HR processes and reporting and managing HR risk. During this time he worked across all sectors, providing strategic and operational HR and change management advice.
Ross is a licenced job evaluator, qualified psychometric consultant and change management facilitator.
